In a previous post you read about the qualities of a good operating system but In this post I am gonna write about the qualities of different widely used operating system.

Linux:
Linux is basically a updated version of UNIX or you can say that it is originated from UNIX and It is the official operating system used mostly in offices not in homes because of its Privacy and Security system. The best part of the LINUX is It is fully open source operating system while on the other hand Windows and Mac is not open source.
Different smart phone are totally based on Android OS which actually based on LINUX OS and follows this operating system.
What does Linux has which make it totally different from other Operating System?
Some of you people might be thinking that why we use Linux? Why not other operating system so for that people I wrote the post about qualities of an operating system before writing this.
I want to ask other operating system's users that You might see a software crashes, malware detection, Virus detection, slow speed and other problems but Linux makes it sure the user should not affected by any malware or viruses and the time sharing of this OS also make it faster I am not advertising Linux but describing different OS.
Apple Macintosh:
April 1, 1976 in US, The Company named Apple was established that designs different kind of Electronic Computers, Steve Jobs was the co-founder of this Company, Later this company decided to design its own operating system which was first released in March 24, 2001 which was named as Apple Macintosh or simply MAC.
Mac is one of the most using operating system across the world most people recommend to use Mac because of its privacy and security system, No operating system can beat this OS in terms of Privacy and Security system at this stage.
Windows:
November 20, 1985.
Windows is so common operating system, every body can use easily, there is no any restriction that is why it is most unsafe operating system, I listed these OS by their rankings and Windows is on three among these OS.
Windows user also complains about Malware and speed although Graphical user Interface of Windows is too much friendly but It is not the only thing a user want.
Developer has also worked on its Privacy and Security system but still it has a privacy issue.
GUI is extremely awesome, windows has several versions for instance, Vista, XP, 7 now the latest version is Windows 10 which is far better than all time versions.
Microsoft The Company, launches windows updated version every where almost and the first windows OS they launch was MS-Dos which was extremely poor in GUI. MS-Dos became a cause of growing the demand of GUI.
Comment:
After having a view on these three Operating system, You might be able to judge which operating system is best.
In my opinion, Linux is the best and most difficult to use while on the other hand Windows is the most easy to use and has least Security and Privacy but still it is the most common.
The Ranking of these OS is done according to me, It is not the world ranking.
